THE LOCATION

August in Texas?

An outside wedding?

Austin?

What were we thinking?

- Sidewalk connecting hotel, gazebo
and reception building.

The date was selected to coincide with the expiration dates of our apartment leases. Plus, we are anxious to move into our new house.

Austin seemed a good midway point for families and friends to travel. Lake Travis and Austin are also very near and dear to Daniel and me. MAP

We think everyone will love the wedding location as much as we do. The view is beautiful and the surroundings are comfortable.

- Reception building

We found Vintage Villas to have everything needed to make our wedding convenient and as hassle free as possible. No need to drive from the wedding to the reception. You can enjoy the celebration without worrying about driving afterwards. If it rains, we can easily move inside. The facilities have been thought out specifically to accommodate such an occasion, and the staff are professionally trained to orchestrate the ceremony and festivities.

As far as the Texas heat in August, the ceremony will be held at dusk. We will then move into an air conditioned building for the reception, while still allowing those that wish to enjoy a Texas summer evening to continue to do so.

I hope this answers any questions or concerns about the date and location. Daniel and I look forward to celebrating this happy occasion with you.

- Bonnie
